Malliouhana is serenity and elegance delivered with what appears to be effortless grace. It seemed like we were walking around in our own personal Caribbean fairy tale. Beautifully landscaped, the resort spills castle-like, over a bluff and while you are aware that there are other guest, the experience feels more like your own tropical paradise. You have the privacy you might find in an individual villa along with the excellent service of a high end hotel.

The solitude of Turtle Cove will satisfy even the most picky beach connoisseur. We were lucky enough to see turtle tracks on the sand. The big surprise for us was how much fun we had in the different pools. On the pirate ship. I had to play with the kids and even went down the slide. Twice!

Don't miss eating at the Malliouhana Restaurant. The setting is superb overlooking Mead's Bay and I'm still drooling over an apple desert we shared. Breakfast in your room, set up on your private balcony eases you gently into the day.

An Anguilla addiction keeps me on the TA forum pretty much on a daily basis, so when we booked this trip, we decided to invite other forum members to a Sunset Drinks Party at the Mallioiuhana Bar. And what a great choice for a party it was. There may be no better spot for sunset viewing than here. Thanks to all who showed up to share the evening with us. Particularly, thanks to Bart, the manager who will go out of his way to see that you have an unforgettable experience at Malli.
