Hotel Description
General Description
Location. The Hotel Telegraaf is located in Tallinn, Estonia, 70 metres from Tallinn Town Hall, 300 metres from St Olaf's Church and three kilometres from Kadriorg Art Museum. Tallinn Airport (TLL) is five kilometres away.
Hotel Features. The sensitively refurbished Hotel Telegraaf is a former 19th-century telegraph exchange station which once transferred messages across the former Soviet Union. The hotel has a heated indoor pool and a spa offering Elemis health and beauty treatments, spa tub, sauna and steam room. Multilingual staff on the 24-hour front desk can arrange currency exchange. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available.

The Hotel Telegraaf Restaurant Tchaikovsky features a lofty ceiling with black-painted beams hung with large chandeliers and taupe walls heavy with gilt-framed oil paintings. It serves Russian dishes fused with French flavours for lunch and dinner. The impressive lobby bar serves selected dishes from the restaurant's a la carte menu and an extensive drinks and wine list. The hotel serves a complimentary buffet breakfast. Room service is available 24 hours.

There is a multi-functional meeting room for up to 50 people, and secure valet parking.

Guestrooms. The Hotel Telegraaf has 86, fully carpeted rooms on six floors. Decor is contemporary, featuring rich, warm toned walls and the furniture combines modern and period-style pieces. All rooms have cable television, direct-dial phones and complimentary wireless Internet access. Bathrooms include bathrobes, scales, telephones and designer toiletries.

Expert Tip. The Open Air Museum is a whole day out. A unique collection of original 18th-20th century Estonian buildings on a 79-hectare coastal site, it has lots of stone barns, windmills and watermills to explore. Head there on a folk holiday, which are celebrated with traditions dating back to the Middle Ages.
