Location. In Nice, France, the Hotel Negresco is within walking distance of major museums and the shopping district. The Musee Massena is next door to the hotel and shopping in Rue de France is two blocks away. Less than two kilometers from the hotel are the Opera House and Vieux Nice. Nice International Airport is six kilometers away.

The reception area is medium in size and simply furnished in comparison with the other public rooms, which are enormous and magnificently appointed. The main room is very imposing. Situated beneath a stained glass dome, it hosts a good selection of deluxe boutiques and can be used for large cocktail receptions. It also features original paintings and statues by famous artists. Its centre piece is a marvellous crystal chandelier.
