Everyday life, the hustle and stress. We left all this far behind and beneath us deep down in the valley, in the grey dusts which often weigh heavily upon ones mind. Here on the mountain the sun is laughing at us and we are fully committed to the zest for life.
The joie de vivre in the Dollenberg Hotel has many faces: Of course, feasting is part of it, as we mentioned before. Beside the outstanding chefs and service team, the health & beauty centre is a little paradise for itself. Therefore: Have a rest, lay back and relax!

Take a deep breath and exhale very slowly. We feel light and free as we inhale the aromatic Black Forest air: Walks in the green paradise around the Dollenberg Hotel. It is paying off to be already at the height of 650 meters above sea level. We can comfortably reach some of the most interesting destinations on well-kept paths. Of course, it is possible to extend the rambles to more secluded heights.
Top-class destinations are to be found a stone's throw away from the Dollenberg Hotel: The nearby health-cure city of Baden-Baden with its world-famous spa-rooms and casino, the Alsace and the city of Strasbourg with its beautiful Minster. But to be honest: It is only with regret that we leave the Dollneberg even if it is just for a few hours. We could miss a lot of fun because our host is very inventive when surprises for his guests are concerned.

This why we cancelled our trip planned for this morning to an exclusive wine-grower in the town of Durbach, which is famous for its wines. We intended to try some of the exquisite spirits which tasted so good at the Hotel-Restaurant directly from the producer.

Maybe we get a chance to visit the wine-grower in autumn. That's the time when the Dollenberg Hotel offers the "Wellness-Week" and we will be there if we can make it possible. But unfortunately we have to pack our things tomorrow. Farewell Dollenberg.
