The villa and its grand park were built in 1892 by the prominent Feltrinelli family and served as a summer escape. Since then, the villa and its lakeside views have been admired by statesment and artists alike. Mussolini resided several years at the villa during world war II.

Our Chef "La cucina ha senso soltanto quando abbiamo qualcuno con cui condividere le nostre emozioni.": cooking only makes sense when we have someone with whom we can share our emotions. This is the credo of our young chef de cuisine Stefano Baiocco whose course of life leads him to Villa Feltrinelli, after having matured important experience in the temples of international cooking.
He began his culinary career in Florence, at Enoteca Pinchiorri, but it is Paris that most of all influences and hones his skills. It's here in the capital of "La Cuisine francaise" studying under the great masters Alain Ducasse and Pierre Gagnaire that his talent truly blooms.
His insatiable passion for cooking then leads him to Tokyo, New York, Hong Kong, and Raymond Blanc in Oxford and on to Spain, to Ferran Adrià 's restaurant El Bulli, where he further refines his talent and completes his experience.
Today, at Villa Feltrinelli, his "savoir faire" is focused on just one thing, excellence.
