The light of Lisbon is almost mythical, sung by poets, portrayed by painters, described by writers and visitors. Particularly in the Winter, when lights seems to have vanished from the rest of the Northern hemisphere, in Lisbon, it seems to come from the sky and the ocean, brought by Southern winds, like a promise of everlasting Spring.

If you plan to stay for two nights, in a City River View Room or a Villa Room, Lapa Palace offers you the third night, so that you can make the most of your Winter break and stay another day in the Lisbon light (based on regular rates and valid only between 1 Dec 2005 and 28 Feb 2006, excluding Xmas and New Year).

PALACE WING - PALACE ROOM, DELUXE ROOM, JUNIOR SUITE, DELUXE SUITES
It is the original Palace building with a total of 22 rooms and suites. Rooms located on this wing include Palace and Deluxe rooms, Junior Suites, Suites and Deluxe Suites (Tower Room and Count of Valen�as Suite) all located on floors 5-7 and most with hydro massage bathtubs. All rooms are uniquely decorated with balconies or large terraces overlooking the pool and gardens or the city.

GARDEN WING - CITY/RIVER/POOL/GARDEN VIEW ROOMS AND SUITES
The Garden wing was built in 1992 and has 72 rooms and suites. Rooms in the Garden wing enjoy fabulous views over garden (1st floor), the pool (2nd and 3rd floors), the river and downtown Lisbon (4th to 6th floors). A handicapped room is available in the Garden wing.

VILLA LAPA - VILLA ROOMS AND SUITES
The Villa wing is separate new building located behind the Garden wing with 14 exclusive rooms and suites. All rooms are very spacious with private gardens (4th floor), balconies or terraces and are decorated in authentic Portuguese style.

All rooms feature: 24-hour room service, turndown service, satellite TV with VCR and radio alarm clock, 2 telephone lines with voice mail, broadband internet access, personal safe, mini-bar, air-conditioning, pillow menu, hairdryer and heated towel rack, umbrella, bathrobes and slippers
