One of the greatest restaurants in Portugal in a truly palatial atmosphere enhanced by the magnificent paintings by João Vaz which illustrate voyages from the epic poem "The Lusiads", the beautiful Moresque ceiling, the exotic wood floor, and the royal gallery.
A memorable lunch on a pleasant sunny day, or a candle-lit romantic dinner, as only Bussaco can offer.
As well as classic French cuisine, the restaurant also offers traditional Portuguese dishes, including local specialities such as fisherman's stew, roast suckling pig, roast kid, kid braised in wine, as well as regional sweets.
