Hotel Description
Qlegant charm and splendid rest is what you get in this luxury small hotel, which is essentially one of the great Townhouses of majestic and Historic Sóller - a quaint and Ancient town in what is the most significant valley in the centre of the dramatic Serra de Tramuntana mountain on the west coast of Majorca.
Sóller is even linked in ten minutes to its own scenic seaside port - Port de Sóller - and its beach by the famous vintage tram, terminus right here off Sóller Plaza - alongside the Taxi service which can take you anywhere in the Island courtesy of pre-published price-list.
A regular vintage train service also makes the one-hour trip to Palma - half hour by Taxi. So leave your car behind!
Other scenic beaches are also short and dramatic drives to breathtaking locations like Deia, Sa Calobra, Valledemossa, Banyalbufar and many more.
Enjoy the scent of Orange, Lemon and Grapefruit groves and beautiful fauna herbs and flowers in Salvia's own garden by the swimming pool. This is a tranquil place of immense appeal, reflecting an ageless peace and set amid spectacular mountain vistas.
Each of our six bedrooms has a magnificent view of the valley, furnished as befits a luxury period home and with the most modern facilities for your complete comfort. On selected evenings we are our own in-house chefs and we promise our food will be special. We will even cater for your special occasion or special dish with a little notice.
We cannot wait to welcome you!
All bedrooms have:

Satellite T.V.
DVD video
Drinks-cocktail bar, fridge mini-bars

Room 1: The Suite of Roses.
An 18th century stone stairway leads to the elegant red rose room, a delightful, much loved suite with a character all its own. Fresh flowers fill the room, which is furnished with fine Spanish antique furniture. A heavy wooden door leads through to the large bathroom, decorated with original ceramic tiles from Majorca and a stunning mother of pearl inlaid dressing mirror. Large shuttered windows beckon, opening onto the beautiful garden, its backdrop the awe-inspiring Tremanuna Mountains . Orange and lemon trees perfume the air here, and, in the words of one of our guests, 'In this room there is not a single dream or illusion that cannot be realized .'.
Room 2: The Shannon Suite
Light floods into this beautiful room, the lightness of shades creating a mesmerizing contrast to the rich dark Spanish fittings. Many fine people have stayed here, and many fine words have been written here within its mellow blue and cream walls. This very special room has been requested by some of our most interesting guests, not only because of its fine antique furniture, fresh flowers and elegant bathroom, but also because it seems to retain a unique, indefinable atmosphere; an air of reflection; an aura of calm.
Room 3.
Open the shutters in room 3 and you are welcomed by a Bougainvillea-framed view of the wondrously majestic Serra de Tramuntana Mountain range. This room is beautifully situated on the second floor, and overlooks the verdant garden where the heady scents of oranges, lemon, jasmine and herbs float up from the grounds, bringing the outside indoors. This lovely room, like all the others has dramatic gold mirrors, elegant antiques and a wonderful bright roll-top bath big enough for two - in the adjoining room.
Room 4.
This, our grandes t room, comprises an entire private wing of Salvia and is simply the essence of luxury. Discerning guests seem to direct themselves to this room as if by instinct. Brimming with fine antiques and period furniture, and strikingly decorated with beautiful black and white 18 th century Majorquin floor tiles, it is truly elegant. A fine separate drawing room still echoes with the memories of the house's noble past, and two tapestry covered chaise lounges furnish the exquisitely tiled hallway. Six large shuttered windows overlook the luxuriant garden, the mountain range, and the valleys and hills, embroidered with orange blossoms. This is the principal room of the house in terms of its capacious size, and affirmation of all that is beautiful in this life.
Room 5.
The doors turn soundlessly on their hinges as you enter room five.Tremendously elegant, this suite holds within its wall some sunny ancient mood and overlooks the ancient little narrow streets of Soller. It is a charming stunning room with twin beds and a luxury en suite bathroom.
Room 6: Twin room.
