Location. The Hospes Madrid is located on the landmark Plaza de la Independencia, in the centre of Madrid, Spain. The Plaza Mayor and the Almudena Cathedral, with its unique Neo-Gothic interior, are both within three kilometres of the hotel.

Overlooking the Puerta de Alcala gate, the boutique Hospes Madrid is housed in a historic late 19th-century property, boasting an ornate façade of whitewashed stone lined with statues. At the Bodyana Spa guests can work out in the fitness area, relax in the spa, and indulge in Mediterranean and Oriental massages. The hotel also offers complimentary onsite parking, and 24-hour room service.
Guests of the Hospes Madrid can sample local and international dishes in the Senzone Restaurant, and enjoy drinks on the terrace and in the Pipa Club and Senzone Bar.

Distance to the Hospes Madrid is 15 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. A regular underground metro service runs from the airport to central Madrid. The station is located in Terminal Two and is on line 8 (pink). The single fare is 1.75 EUR. An airport bus runs to central Madrid's Plaza de Colon terminal. The bus departs every 10 minutes and tickets cost 2.40 EUR. Taxis into the city centre cost about 30 EUR, including an airport surcharge. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The squares and narrow streets in central Madrid are best explored by foot. An extensive public bus and metro system offers a cheap and efficient way to get around the city.
