General Description
The Sheraton Stockholm Hotel in Stockholm is an eight- storey hotel built by Sheraton in 1971, located in the centre of the city on Lake Malaren, 250 metres from the Museum of Modern Art and 500 metres from the harbour. The 462 guestrooms all have high-speed Internet connections (surcharge), satellite TV, voicemail, and climate control. Rooms are decorated in yellow with different coloured fabrics on each floor. Executive rooms are slightly larger than Classic rooms and also have better views of the city.
The hotel has two restaurants and the lobby lounge serves drinks and snacks. Liberty Kitchen offers buffet breakfasts and an a la carte menu at lunch and dinner. A favourite dining spot of Princess Christina, Die Ecke serves Bavarian specialities and beers in a typical rustic setting.
At the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel in Stockholm, for leisure, guests can enjoy a range of services, including the health club which has male and female saunas with relaxation rooms and cardiovascular machines. Massages are also available. There is a gift shop and a casino in the hotel, with roulette and black jack tables. The mezzanine level has 13 flexible meeting rooms and a separate lobby area with sleek caramel and black leather armchairs. The wood-panelled boardroom has large black leather swivel chairs. The largest of the rooms can accommodate 280 for a banquet. There is also a business centre and complimentary wireless Internet access in the meeting rooms and the lobby bar. Arlanda Airport in Stockholm is 45 kilometres away, a 35 minute drive from the hotel.

It is a modern purpose-built red brick building, giving an impression of a warehouse or an office block. However the hotel fits in with all of its surroundings.
Lobby
The lobby is very large with marble floors recently renovated to give the lobby a fresh feel. There is a very large seating area by the bar with a number of sofas. A lively atmosphere is common in this huge lobby.

At the airport, take the Arlanda Buss or the Arlanda Express train to Central Station, which is located across the street from the hotel. The bus takes about 40 minutes; the train makes the trip in 20 minutes. A taxi will cost around 450 SEK.
Driving directions: From the airport, take E4 South (Stockholm). Follow signs to the city (Centrum). Proceed to Tegelbacken. The hotel is located near the railway station on Vasagaten 2.
