Gidleigh Park is amongst the most highly rated small luxury hotels in England, and certainly the most highly rated in the South West.

The house is set in 40 acres of magnificent, secluded gardens and woodland on the North Teign River, within Dartmoor National Park. Public rooms and bedrooms are individually furnished with antiques and fine English fabrics. There is a log fire burning every day of the year, and cut flowers brighten every room.

Manager, Catherine Endacott, directs our personable young staff to provide service which we hope is always enthusiastic, personal, friendly and efficient.

Bedrooms

There are twelve bedrooms in the main wing of the house and two in the north wing, which was converted from a chapel. There are also two bedrooms in a charming thatched cottage 350 yards from the hotel. All of the bedrooms have the amenities expected in a luxury hotel, e.g. private bathrooms, television, direct dial telephones, radios, Frette bathrobes, Molton Brown toiletries, etc.
