Hotel Description
Set in its own manicured gardens and private beach with a seasonal sailing school, the hotel overlooks Old Grimsby Sound to the Blockhouse, a 16th century fort.
All rooms are brightly furnished, many with lounge areas, balconies or terraces. The hotel's airy restaurant and bar enjoy stunning seascapes.
Activities and facilities include tennis court, croquet lawn, heated indoor swimming pool, gym, jacuzzi, sauna, shrimping or fishing.

Luxury Hotel Accommodation
The Menavaur and Golden Ball Suites At the far end of the hotel's Garden Wing are two splendid suites, Menavaur and Golden Ball. They enjoy splendid sea views and benefit from individual sitting rooms.
This recently refurbished wing is quietly situated at the northern end of the Hotel and is on the first floor, facing north east.
Main Wing and Cottage Wing A selection of room types is available in the main wing of the Island Hotel. There are three west-facing, garden view rooms each with its own veranda and easy access to the swimming pool. These rooms are big enough to accommodate two adults and one child.
There are also three east-facing, family-sized rooms on the seaward side of this wing, which have a large enclosed balcony with beautiful sea views. Three single rooms share the same aspect, two with the benefit of a balcony. A further double room is available without balcony, but with partial sea views.
The Cottage Wing consists of single and double rooms all with sea views, centrally located for easy access to the Terrace Bar and Restaurant. Two of these rooms are on the ground floor, with access to their own terrace.

Double rooms with en-suite facilities, sea view, balcony or terrace. This wing is quietly situated at the northern end of the Hotel and is on the first floor, facing south-west.
These double or twin rooms have delightful sea views, across a small cove and towards a number of uninhabited islands. They all have a balcony with direct access to the garden.
Moorings Suite Situated in the main wing there is the Moorings Suite which has a lavishly appointed bedroom leading through an archway to a sitting room with a small balcony enjoying lovely sea views across the Hotel garden towards Blockhouse Castle.
This suite can accommodate up to two adults and three children.
