Located on an acre of perfectly-landscaped gardens in the City of Napa, Churchill Manor is well located for your Wine Country getaway. Built in 1889, this landmark inn is located in the founding neighborhood for Napa’s elite and the flanking mansions provide the added sense of a forgotten era. It is an easy walk to the shops, tasting rooms, and restaurants in downtown Napa.. Within minutes, you can be touring the wineries on Highway 29 or the Silverado Trail.
Indulge in freshly baked cookies in the sunroom each afternoon and gather in the elegant parlors and inviting veranda for a two-hour hosted wine and appetizer reception every night. Guest rooms are dedicated to the area's wine-growing region and boast modern amenities, a gas or wood fireplace, two-person or clawfoot soaking tub and/or shower. Meander downstairs for a three-course gourmet breakfast that includes signature entrees and side dishes made with fresh, local and organic ingredients. The staff will assist with planning day trips, making reservations at more than 20 gourmet restaurants within walking distance, and arranging balloon rides or wine-tasting tours. All these luxuries are included at no extra charge.

They include our expansive front parlor, piano parlor, historic dining room, television parlor and solarium. Our experienced staff is delighted to assist you in planning winery excursions and making dinner reservations both before and during your stay.

This is the largest bedroom, which is only appropriate since it was Edward Churchill's master suite when he built the mansion in 1889. It features an exquisite antique French bedroom set in walnut, including an ornate-carved king-size bed, a triple-mirrored armoire, richly carved marble-topped matching night stands, dresser with ornate mirror, and dressing table. The original gold-leaf tiles frame the magnificent carved redwood fireplace and giant Victorian bathtub showcased in the room. A large two-person tiled shower completes this very grand room.
Atlas Peak
This spacious vineyard-themed room features a king-size brass bed, ornate mirrored French armoire, and an English fireplace. The emerald green bathroom with brass accents boasts a giant antique claw-foot tub for two, an original pedestal sink, and a huge, exquisitely-tiled two-person walk-in shower.

Antique Delft tiles surround the original fireplace in this large room, which features a matching Austrian mahogany armoire, night stands, dressing table, dresser, and a king-size bed. From San Francisco/Airport via the Bay Bridge-Interstate 80 East: Take Highway 101 north from the airport and follow the signs to interstate 80 east across the Bay Bridge toward Oakland. After crossing the bridge move to the left hand lanes and follow the signs, staying on interstate 80 east, toward Sacramento. After traveling 20 miles you will come to a toll bridge. Pay the $4.00 toll and continue on Interstate 80 east, DO NOT TAKE THE HIGHWAY 29 EXIT, but travel 4 miles to the Highway 37 exit. Drive west on Highway 37 for two miles to Highway 29 (Sonoma Boulevard) and take a sharp right hand turn. Travel seven miles north on Highway-29. Where the road splits, stay to the left toward Calistoga and drive another five miles to the 1st-Street/Downtown-Napa exit. Follow the Downtown Napa signs which route traffic onto 2nd Street (it is a one-way street). Drive about one-half mile to the first traffic light at Jefferson Street and turn right. Travel two blocks and make a left on Oak Street. Drive seven blocks to the corner of Oak and Brown, turn right and pull into the first parking lot on your right hand side. Welcome to Churchill Manor!
From San Francisco/Airport via the Golden Gate Bridge - Highway 101 North: From the Airport, take 101 north for one mile to 380 West. Travel west on 380 for two miles to 280 North. Drive north on 280 for five miles until it turns into 19th Avenue. Stay on 19th Avenue and drive seven miles to the Golden Gate Bridge (101 North). Cross the Golden Gate Bridge and drive 20 miles on 101 North to the Highway 37 exit. Travel east on Highway 37 for seven miles and turn left at the Highway-121/12 intersection. Go north for 6.5 miles and make a right hand turn at the stop sign. This keeps you on Highway 121 /12. Drive nine more miles to Highway 29. Turn left and travel three miles to the 1st Street/Downtown Napa Exit. Follow the Downtown Napa signs which route traffic onto 2nd Street (a one-way street).
