Luxury Hotel Accommodation
The European ambience of our 99 guest room and suite accommodations evokes Thomas Jefferson’s cherished years in Paris while an extraordinary attention to detail conveys the sense that one is staying in a private home. These two influences blend seamlessly in our spacious suites, where marble-tiled entryways lead to gracious parlors furnished in the style of a Parisian salon, with velvet couches and whitewashed writing desks perfectly placed on parquet flooring under beautifully hand-crafted chandeliers.
Here, you might find a book on Monticello on your side table, or perhaps a vintage copy of Goode’s Best Addresses. Each suite bedroom has a four-poster bed with a velvet settee at its foot. Suite bathrooms offer double vanities and radiant heating above the deep-soaking tubs.
In our guest room and lodging accommodations, beds are invitingly sumptuous, dressed in custom Porthault linens, draped in down duvets, accented with coverlets and bolster pillows, and framed with leather upholstery at the head and foot.
Desk chairs covered in dupioni silk pull up to elegant writing desks. Windows open to the outside air. And, in one of the more inspired technological touches, a simple wall-mounted panel of two electronic buttons – one marked “housekeeping†the other “do not disturb†– informs hotel staff of your desires by triggering a subtle light in the hallway outside the guest room door.
Bathrooms with hand-cut Italian and Spanish stonework offer oversized walk-in showers (some also feature deep soaking tubs) and custom bath amenities by red flower. Seventeen-inch televisions are discreetly hidden within the bathroom mirrors, while abundant counter and shelf space allows plenty of room for your personal items.
