Hotel Description

Luxury Hotel Accommodation
The Copacabana Palace has 225 rooms and suites, 147 of which in the main building and 78 suites in the Annex. All are individually designed with fine period furniture and original works of art. Each of the rooms has view of the sea or of Copacabana Avenue. All suites have spacious and opulent sitting rooms.
Classic Floors
The accommodations on the 1st and 2nd floors have been decorated by Michel Jouanet, who has used the original Copacabana Palace furniture, which came from the early 1920s, when the Guinle Family built the Hotel. On these floors, we have Standard Rooms (composed by bedroom and bathroom with city view), Deluxe Ocean View Rooms (composed by bedroom and bathroom, facing the Copacabana beach) and Junior Ocean View Suites and Deluxe Ocean View Suites, both composed by bedroom, bathroom and living room facing the famous Copacabana beach, with a slight difference of size between them.
Superior Floors
The comfortable rooms and suites located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Hotel have been recently renovated and redecorated by Michel Jouanet. The furniture that enhances these rooms and suites has been made by special design for the Copacabana Palace. We also find on these floors the following kinds of rooms: Standard Rooms (composed by bedroom and bathroom with city view), Deluxe Ocean View Rooms (composed by bedroom and bathroom, facing the Copacabana beach) and Junior Ocean View Suites and Deluxe Ocean View Suites, both composed by bedroom, bathroom and living room facing the famous Copacabana beach, with a slight difference of size between them.
On the 5th floor, a range of executive suites offers extra facilities, including an Executive Lounge where refreshments are served upon request. Here the views of the Atlantic and of Rio are simply without parallel.
Executive Floor
It stretches from the spacious modern rooms to the suites, all beautifully decorated by the late Orient-Express architect, Gerard Gallet. Each has a CD and video player, marbled bathrooms and furniture encrusted with Brazilian stones. For guest staying on the Executive Floor, butler service is available, which includes unpacking and repacking of suitcases, daily shoe shines, Concierge services and even early morning tea" on request. Express check-ins and personalized checkouts are all part of the service, no to mention the use of the business center cabins, equipped with all the latest computers, scanners, printers, etc.
Penthouse Suites
Grandious suites with approximately 100 square meters, composed by living room, bedroom, bar, toilet, spacious marble bathroom and varanda facing the wonderful Copacabana beach. Guests will also have butler service 24 hours and private pool to the floor.
Avenue City View Suite - Tower Wing Building
Spacious suites with approximately 70 square meters located at the Tower Wing Building. They are composed by living room, bedroom, bathroom and varanda facing the city.
Pool Suite - Tower Wing Building
Recently renovated, the comfortable suites with approximately 70 square meters are also located at the Tower Wing Building. All accommodations were decorated by the Orient-Express French decorator, Michel Jouanet and are composed by a comfortable sitting room, with an adjoining varanda overlooking the pool and the Copacabana beach. The beds in the bedroom have specially designed Sealy orthopedic pillow top mattresses and are made up with the exceptionally fine Trussardi bed linen. In addition these poolside suites offer special services on request, such as express check-ins and in suite checkouts.
Among the facilities available are communications and entertainment technology, creating the perfect environment in which to work and relax. Executive and Penthouse even boast their own tennis court, swimming pool, fitness center, laundry service and hairdresser. This is the most indulgently luxurious experience in town!
